Herbert is excited to join the Iowa City community as the new Scenery Shop Supervisor. For the last four years Herbert has been the Scene Shop Assistant/Stage Technician for the Alley Theatre in Houston, Texas. Previous academic roles include Production Coordinator at Northeastern University in Boston, MA;  Shop  Foreman at Stephens College in Columbia, MO; and the Facilities Manager and Lighting Supervisor at Okoboji Summer Theatre in Okoboji, IA. Past regional theatre roles include Electrician at Dallas Theater Center and Kansas City Repertory Theatre, and Stage Staff at Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
