If you have ever felt like a misfit, comedian Gary Gulman welcomes you to the club.
Gary Gulman has apparently never quite fit in. His recent memoir, Misfit: Growing Up Awkward in the ’80s, is in keeping with his absurd, inventive, and virtuosic comedy — including the comedy on display in his fifth special, Born on Third Base (executive produced by Conan O’Brien). Make no mistake: Gulman doesn’t claim to have been born on third base himself (quite the opposite, in fact). Instead, he skewers those who have had everything handed to them but still think of themselves as self-made. The Misfit Stand Up Tour is a perfect fit for Club Hancher.
