Part of HANCHER’S 2026–2027 SEASON and INFINITE DREAM
Presented by HANCHER AUDITORIUM
What would happen on Earth after humans disappeared?
This experimental opera — created by cutting edge musician and actress Gelsey Bell — inhabits a world where humans no longer exist. A highly acclaimed ensemble of five vocalist/multi-instrumentalists guide the audience through the changes on Earth as forests grow back, new species evolve, and the human-made world erodes away. Fantastical and playful, the piece explores the dire political and ethical contradictions structuring current human relations with nature.
"Sexily sinister, celestial and otherworldly.” – Parterre Box
